Lexicon
This appendix introduces the book’s recurring Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Latin vocabulary. The full lexicon lives in the Glossary, where each term has a reader-facing entry.
The lexicon matters because the argument depends on distinctions that English can flatten: bread as food, bread as support, bread as sacred offering, bread as daily petition, bread as body, and bread as future hope.
